C2 & A3 (different views) "Aura" salt and pepper shakers

These whimsical yet sophisticate stone ware salt and pepper shakers are hand formed from a rolled out slab. The stamped (yes, I even made the stamp) spiral motif running down the side give them a little playful attitude. a smaller red rubber cork on the bottom is the access for filling them up. This one of a kind addition will give your table a touch nobody else has.

That is what I said when I unloaded the kiln. This glaze combo is one of my favorites. These whimsical unique shakers can't help becoming a dinner conversation piece.

Even though these shakers are not perfectly shaped they have a lot of spunk. My ten year old daughter helped me make these by adding the coils around the neck.

sadly, while all the other shakers found homes this set keeps being overlooked. The shape reminds me of a grain bag rest ing against the wall. I've decided to adopt for my own table.
